Initially specializing in the sale of prescription and sunglasses, Ottica Spaggiari has gradually expanded its offerings to include soft and specialized contact lenses tailored with particular attention to the application of RGP lenses for managing conditions such as keratoconus and high ametropias.
In 2018, the business was taken over by Ottica Dalpasso, another historic entity in Reggio Emilia that was on the path of expansion.
This acquisition brought a range of positive changes, with renovated premises and the introduction of cutting-edge equipment. The synergy between Ottica Dalpasso’s decades of experience and Ottica Spaggiari’s heritage has allowed the optical center to maintain and strengthen its position as a reference point for the city of Reggio Emilia.

Growing up with a love for vision and the art of optics, I ventured into this field after a unique educational journey, starting my career far from optics. However, I later decided to follow the family business and immersed myself completely in the passion for vision. I obtained a diploma in optics and a certificate in optometry, enhancing my skills with specialized courses in contact lenses and low vision.
In my free time, I love exploring the world on my motorcycle, dedicating myself to karate with all the energy I have. Recently, I took my first step into the magical world of gliding – a passion deeply rooted in my family’s history.
